Long time no post

I have been very slack since starting my blog. Let's get caught up. My youngest daughter fractured her arm at the skating rink and has her second cast on at this time. Hope to have it removed on Tuesday. I had my 30th high school reunion last weekend. Traveled to my hometown and saw many old schoolmates. My  brother was in the hospital and now is back home and doing well. I hope to get started working on some of my Christmas gifts. Maybe I can get my older daughter to come over and help put some pics up on my blog.

It was spirit night at the local Fun Warehouse for our local school. I did not get on the skates. It's been since the 70's since I wore those pom-pom skates. Did you have some of those? I sure thought that I was real coooollll. It was Retro night and they played music from 80-90's. They did play Y M C A. The kids loved it!

First Day

Today is my first blog. I'm not sure if I have something to say everyday. So this will be my little experiment. I'm a night shift Labor and Delivery nurse.  Lately, I have been interested in following the blogs of other women who are being creative and thrifty. This is inspiring to me. I have been repurposing furniture and items that I find at local thrift stores. I did not grow up with computers. My kids usually have to help me. Due to the challenge of my computer skills, it might take a little time to get some pics up.
